About Megan...

I have always been creative and loved working with my hands. I grew up the daughter of a home builder - so new home construction is kind of in my blood. 
I started in the new home construction industry in 2011, working closely with RDI Homes, INC. I was the Selections Coordinator, helping with everything that goes into a new home. In 2014, I started Megan Jelsema Designs, LLC.
While I love working on new homes, I also enjoy decorating homes and remodels. Decorating homes brings the process full circle for me. The pieces that get brought in to a home, is what makes a home uniquely yours.
Every home and room should represent the people who live there. Your home should be a place where you and those you love are comfortable and where memories are made every day!

I work closely with area builders and contractors for new homes and remodels. If you are getting ready to build or remodel; I am here to help walk you thru the entire process from the shingles over your head to the floor under your feet and the paint all around!
As a DIY-er myself, I understand that it can be hard to get what is in your mind out or to figure out where to start; I can help you get the ideas into your home! Just looking for some help on what color to paint your room or a piece of furniture? I can come to your house and help you figure it out.
Need some help stepping out of your box? We all get comfortable where we are and can have a hard time making a change - I am here to help you step out of your box and into a room you will love.
